Friday, August 17, 2007 Wikinews has learned that Richard Stallman, the founder of the GNU Project, is confirmed to be safe in Peru after a massive 8.0 earthquake struck the country on August 15. It was earlier reported that he may have been missing. Saturday, July 7, 2007 At least 38 new cases of the H5N1 strain of bird flu have been found in wild birds in eastern Germany today.
